Tau Thomas
Tau Thomas has been a student of Gnosticism and the Western Mystery Tradition for twenty years.
Bishop Thomas holds lines of Apostolic Succession through the Coptic, Ethiopian, Syrian, Eastern Orthodox, and other Ancient Churches, as well as from the Johannite Church of Primitive Christians and the Église Gnostique Universelle Catholique. He is also a Free Initiator (S:.I.:I) in the Martinist Lineage, an Arch-Druid in the AOD tradition, and Master of Sothis Lodge, a Lodge of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis.
Bishop Thomas has been a student and practitioner of the hesychast tradition, the way of inner stillness, received from the lineage of Old Valaam; and nepsis, the practice of inner watchfulness, for 12 years, and a practitioner of theurgy for a decade. He teaches workshops on the Prayer of the Heart, Dynamic Meditation, the tarot, ceremonial magick, centering prayer, and the Qabalah.
The Healing Arts are an important part of Bishop Thomas' ministry, and he is a traditional Reiki Master-Teacher and also practices Violet Flame (Kwan Yin) Reiki and Shamballa Multidimensional Healing.
Bishop Thomas is also active in many anti-war and anti-racist activities, as well as work in support of political prisoners held by the U.S.
**Tau is a title used by Gnostic Bishops in the lineage of Jules Doinel, in ecclesia Tau Valentin II, the founder of the modern Gnostic Church.
